Daniel Radcliffe, famous for taking risks with roles that no one else with his resume would do, will join the Oscar winner Sandra Bullock (Gravity, The Blind Side, The Proposal) Y Channing Tatum (21 Jump Street, White House Down, Foxcatcher) in the Paramount Pictures romantic action comedy The Lost City Of D (The Lost City of D). While details about Radcliffe’s character are being kept under wraps, it has been confirmed that the Harry Potter star will play a villain in the film.
Radcliffe has been quite active in projects ranging from the anthology series Miracle Workers, even movies like Escape from Pretoria, Guns Akimbo, Jungle, Imperium, Now You See Me 2, Swiss Army Man, Victor Frankenstein, Horns, Kill Your Darlings Y The Lady in Black.
The Lost City of D follow a lonely romance novelist (Bullock) that she was sure nothing could be worse than getting stuck on a book tour with her cover model (Tatum), until a kidnapping attempt drags them both on a fierce jungle adventure, proving that life can be much stranger and more romantic than any of his pocket fictions.
The film will be directed by Adam Y Aaron Nee (Band of Robbers, Masters of the Universe) from a script written by Dana Fox (How to be Single). The film will also star Patti Harrison Y Da’Vine Joy Randolph. It was originally announced that Ryan Reynolds would be the lead actor, but this did not materialize and Tatum was chosen in his place.
In addition to starring, Bullock also serves as a producer through her company Fortis Films.
