The offspring of the St. Gallen-Wittenbach swimming club had a successful competition at the Zurich-Oerlikon indoor swimming pool in the 50m Olympic pool at the weekend. For coach Angelika Toscan it was a successful start to the season for our U11 to U16. The team was very motivated and everyone was able to improve their personal bests.
The 16-year-old Rocco Laguardia surprisingly won the silver medal in the 200m freestyle in top 2: 03.71 in the juniors U20 and younger.

For the Junior Swiss Championship July 22nd – 25th in Aarau The following athletes have already qualified: Rocco Laguardia, Janine Schelling, Xenia Waldburger.
The following athletes from the junior team can “possibly” opt for the long course Qualifying for the Swiss Championship in Uster 7th – 11th April 2021:
- Noelia Breu over 400m medley limit 5: 32.73 (best time swum in Zurich on March 21st = 5: 31.92)
- Nina Koller about 200m dolphin / 400m freestyle (still open)
- Rocco Laguardia over 800m / 1500m freestyle (still open)
The participation of Swiss Aquatics has not yet been confirmed!
