Bulgaria has uncovered a spy ring. The government speaks of a historic success. But it is not just the timing shortly before the elections that raises questions.

For World Poetry Day last Sunday, the Russian representation in Bulgaria had come up with a nice campaign. Ambassador Eleonora Mitrofanova recited with other diplomats the poem «Moscow Snow Falls in Sofia» by Russian writer Vladimir Sokolov and posted the recording online.
