Tolls from Ujung Banten & Ujung Jatim Are Ready to Connect in 2022

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia There are two Trans Java toll roads that are targeted to operate in 2022. Especially from the Pasuruan segment to Banyuwangi, East Java. If this is realized, it will connect the tip of Banten Province to East Java Province.

Two Toll Road Business Entities (BUJT) are building the toll road. PT Trans Jawa Paspro Jalan Tol holds the Pasuruan – Probolinggo concession with a total length of up to 45 kilometers and PT Jasa Marga Probolinggo Banyuwangi holds the concession for the Probolinggo – Banyuwangi section of 172 kilometers.

Citing Monitoring of Trans Sumatra Toll Road Construction Progress as of February 15, 2021, the Pasuruan – Probolinggo Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) consists of four sections. Where Sections 1,2 and 3 of Grati – East Probolinggo have been operating since last April 2019.


Meanwhile, Section 4 (East Probolinggo – IC Gending, 12.4 kilometers) is targeted to operate next year. Currently, the progress of land acquisition has reached 39 percent with the realization of only 3.5 percent construction.

In addition, the Probolinggo – Banyuwangi Section 1 (Probolinggo – Paiton) and Section 2 (Paiton – Besuki) sections are also targeted for completion in 2022. Currently, it is still in the process of land acquisition with a progress of 21%.

If this project is completed, the Trans Java toll road network will stretch from Cilegon Banten to Banyuwangi Jalan Timur. Connecting two major cities in Indonesia Jakarta and Surabaya.
