Protesters attacked a police station and set two police vehicles on fire. The protesters damaged several more police cars.
The protesters threw various objects and fireworks at the police. Several law enforcement officers were reportedly seriously injured.
Also, the protesters smashed windows and shop windows. The police detained seven active participants in the riots.
