Voting Again, The Court Cancels Haris-Sani’s Victory

JAKARTA – The Constitutional Court granted the dispute over the results of the 2020 Jambi Provincial Election proposed by the candidate for Governor 01 Cek Endra-Ratu Munawaroh. The Constitutional Court ordered the Jambi Provincial KPU to conduct a re-voting (PSU) of 88 polling stations spread across 5 districts.

“The Constitutional Court ordered re-voting at 88 polling stations in the Jambi Province.” Said Anwar Usman, Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court.

The Constitutional Court stated that there had been violations in the implementation of voting at 88 TPS so that the PSU was conducted.

The Constitutional Court, said Anwar also, canceled the KPU Decree on the Determination of the Vote Recapitulation Results in December 2020 which was won by Haris-Sani Candidate. (music)
