Knicks and Sixers met for the second time this week after a first knife round. Long undecided, the meeting finally turned in favor of the visitors who impose themselves on the wire thanks to Tobias Harris. Not sure that the pill will pass easily for the Knicks …
The house boxscore is here.
For those who were surprised to see trench warfare in this game, we still have two of the strongest defenses on the pitch. Philly who got off to a good start, New York who got into a lagging match but finally managed to pick up at the break. The match is not necessarily very pleasant, a lot of balls lost by the two teams, we do not really feel a team above. The money time makes it possible to wake up everyone with Philadelphia who thinks of taking a good option with a big shoot from Danny Green but the proteges of Doc Rivers sell off the last possessions. Tobias Harris misses two big shots and Julius Randle takes a big shot in the corner to equalize. The Momentum seems to have turned for New York, which is not far from winning on a last minute interception but the ball goes out.
CLUTCH‼️

The extension promises to be indecisive and it is the case. Danny Green sends two more bombs from the parking lot as Alec Burks plants seven points in a row. New York has an open door after a nice ball flow that gives Reggie Bullock a wide open spot. String. Tobias Harris reacted immediately with a well-clutched shot in the corner despite a defense in place. There is only one point between the two teams, so we come to the crucial moment of the game. Philly gives everything to plant a winning shot but in the defensive rebound fight, Julius Randle is penalized for a stroller on Harris. Two shots for the Sixers. Tom Thibodeau seems to want his challenge but the officials do not grant it … Big exchanges between the staff of the Knicks and the referees but nothing helps. Tobi puts on his throws and Randle’s shot makes a mess. Victory for Philadelphia.
The Sixers come to rob the Garden and we feel that this match will not remain a great memory for the followers of the Big Apple. When we see the anger of the players and the staff at the end of the game, we know that it will not stop there. Small example with Julo’s statement after the meeting. Adam Silver puts a plum in him in 5… 4… 3….
“For them to call that and decide the game is fu*king ridiculous. It’s ridiculous. They’ve got to do a better job. It’s too many games like this.”
