Jakarta – Police investigating the discovery body pieces behind a mall in Setiabudi, South Jakarta. The police said that the pieces of the body were not victims of mutilation, but that they were suspected of falling from an apartment.
“The initial information was that someone fell from the top floor of the Ambassador Apartment,” said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for South Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Jimmy Christian Samma in a statement to reporters on Monday (22/3/2021).
Jimmy said that his party is currently still digging up preliminary information regarding the incident. He said officers were still at the location carrying out an investigation.
“The identification team, Polsek colleagues (Setiabudi) are still at the TKP,” he added.

In the video, residents take turns looking at a pocket. It is suspected that the bag contained body pieces who are called mutilation victims.
