This action in which, apart from Elite, Taxi Project also collaborates, let us remember that today continues with an open investigation against Uber at the Prosecutor’s Office for economic crimes for tax fraud and document fraud, consisting of the placement of more than 5000 posters with the inscription “Uber Public Enemy” in the taxis that make up the fleet of this public service in the AMB.
Speaking to TodoTaxi, from Elite and Taxi Project, his spokesperson, Tito Álvarez tells us, “We are going to start a campaign in all taxis explaining that Uber is the public enemy to raise awareness and the taxi drivers do not let them enter”
“Don’t be fooled by their filthy money “shit”, because in the end what they want is to get into the taxi sector to have power of influence over the institutions and end up deregulating everything ”has qualified us.
And to conclude, Tito warns “You have to make yourself aware that in the end they also want to use the taxi to end up putting in the vtc and bleaching them, and since we don’t want that to happen we are going to put all the pressure and all the meat on the grill as the assembly decided”
Let’s remember that a couple of weeks ago, Tito Álvarez, spokesperson for Elite Taxi and coordinator of the Taxi Project already warned of these actions in two public debates against Juan Galiardo, CEO of Uber in Spain.
A series of decisions on how to act against the entrance of Uber that were endorsed by means of an assembly by the members of the Barcelona taxi drivers association.
