Tira Persikabo excels Arema FC 1-0 in Round I

Tira Persikabo for the time being Ungguli Arema FC 1-0 in the first half. Opening match Menpora Cup 2021 this was held at Manahan Stadium, Solo, Sunday (21/3/2021).

The two teams immediately presented an exciting match with their attacking game. Both Arema and Tira Persikabo took turns threatening their opponent’s goal.

After various opportunities, Tira Persikabo finally opened the scoring with a goal scored by Ahmad Nufiandani in the 11th minute. The goal came from Tira Persikabo’s free kick released by Wawan Febrianto.

Arema Hanif Sjahbandi’s player failed to clear the ball perfectly in the penalty box. The wild ball was then struck by Nufiandani who brought Tira Persikabo 1-0 up to Arema.

Don’t want to be left behind, Arema tried to respond by launching a dangerous attack through Kushedya Hari Yudo. Unfortunately Kushedya’s kick deviated from the target.

Tira Persikabo also responded through Rifad Marasabessy’s action which almost brought Tira Persikabo to his advantage. However, Rifad’s shot from close range in the penalty box was secured by Teguh Amiruddin.

In the 28th minute, Kushedya again threatened Tira Persikabo’s defense. In the situation where it remains to face the goalkeeper, Kushedya’s shot deviates slightly on the left side of Tira Persikabo’s goal.

The score did not change until the referee Aprisman Aranda from West Sumatra ended the first half. Tira Persikabo entered the dressing room with Arema’s superior condition 1-0.
