Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) – The pirate party wants to move into the Bundestag with health expert Sandra Leurs. The NRW regional association set its list for the federal election in Düsseldorf – the Krefeld woman prevailed against three competitors and moved up to first place, as the party announced on Sunday. The German health and care system should be scrutinized and changed, said Leurs, who worked as a geriatric nurse for ten years. She also spoke out in favor of a “drug policy free of repression”. Your chances of getting a mandate in Berlin are bad: In 2017 the pirates won only 0.4 percent of the vote in the federal election.
