According to Marca, Real Madrid have chosen Levane winger Jorge de Frutos as their preferred replacement for Lucas Vázquez.
It is stated that Vázquez will leave Real Madrid at the end of the season and that his contract expires this summer.
Real managers are supposedly ‘clear’ that De Frutos is the man who will replace Vazquez, as he only sold the 24-year-old to Levante this summer.
De Frutos has scored three goals and 10 assists in 31 games for Levante this season, and could now quickly return to Real Madrid.

Boost for Everton and Tottenham …
This appears to have marked the end of Vazquez’s time with Real, and a move to England at the end of the season could be on the cards.
The Daily Star (02/28, p45) reported that Tottenham and Everton are interested in Vazquez and could sign him for free this summer.
With Real already looking for possible replacements, Vázquez appears to be available, and that could mean José Mourinho and Carlo Ancelotti fighting.

But a blow to Southampton
The Mirror (02/28, p67) reported that Southampton had started talks about a deal to sign De Frutos, apparently trying to close a summer deal.
However, now the Royal could rush in and ruin their plans, leaving Ralph Hasenhuttl to return to the drawing board in search of a new extreme.
