Did an unknown man push an eight-year-old girl into the Main in Offenbach? The Offenbach public prosecutor’s office and the criminal police have started the investigation.

Offenbach – As the Southeast Hesse police headquarters in Offenbach reported on Saturday morning, an eight-year-old girl fell into the Main on Friday evening. “The circumstances are still completely unclear,” reported a police spokesman.

According to the girl’s statement, the eight-year-old was with a friend on the banks of the Main near Arthur-Zitscher-Strasse when suddenly a man came and pushed her into the Main without warning. Fortunately, the girl was not injured, according to the police.

The Offenbach public prosecutor’s office and the criminal police started the investigation. The stranger is said to be about 1.80 meters tall. Among other things, he was dressed in a green cap and a blue sweater.
