Intel compares a PC with the new 2021 MacBook Pro

Intel has become quite aggressive in its advertising campaigns against Mac M1s, as Apple has started to replace Intel’s Mac line processors with its own Apple Silicon chips. However, while trying to poke fun at Apple, Intel has unveiled what appears to be the next generation 2021 MacBook Pro with an edge-to-edge MiniLED display.

Intel would have modified a MacBook Pro M1

New Intel ads released this week feature Justin Long, the actor who played the Mac guy in Apple’s “Get a Mac” ads fifteen years ago. In a series of videos, Intel tries to make the case that Intel PCs have many advantages over M1 Macs, which cannot be connected to multiple external monitors or do not support multiple popular games.

However, Intel may have unveiled the next-gen MacBook Pro. As can be seen from one of the videos, Intel is showing a laptop that doesn’t look exactly like the currently available MacBook Pro M1. Instead of having big edges around the screen, the MacBook featured in the ad has very thin edges.

It’s clearly the MacBook Pro we’ve come to expect, but no, Intel didn’t accidentally disclose a new product from Apple. The company said it used commercially available Mac M1s to record its ads, but the computers were changed during the post-production process for some unknown reason. It is difficult to understand the interest of modifying, for the better, a competing product.

Even if Intel denies the information, it’s a safe bet that the upcoming 14-inch MacBook Pro will look like this with a new M1X chip and a Mini-LED display.

What do you think of this future MacBook Pro?
