Xiaomi Mi 11 can only be improved on average

Out of 10, the iFixit team of experts gave only 4 points for the improvement of Xiaomi Mi 11.

Also iFixit experts disassembled by now the Xiaomi Mi 11, and they have come to the conclusion that it can only be improved moderately. Of the maximum 10 points, only 4 were given for repairability of the device. The Galaxy S21 got the same amount anyway, while the iPhone 12 models turned 6.

According to iFixit, there is not so much glue in the Mi 11 because the device does not have IP68 water protection. This makes it easier to remove the back cover and display, and makes it easier to remove the battery. These are all interchangeable.

It was also revealed that inside the Snapdragon 888 chip is a 3200 MHz Samsung LPDDR5 memory with SK Hynix UFS 3.1 storage. However, the curved glass cover was difficult to remove and the fingerprint reader was also difficult to replace. The USB-C port and SIM slot are soldered into place, making them also difficult to replace.
