It is a very strong decision which was announced by the Professional Football League a few seconds ago. Indeed, while on December 22, the Chamois Niortais had to face Valenciennes on behalf of the 17th day of Ligue 2, the match could not take place because three cases of Covid had been reported for the Chamois. Valenciennes had made the trip and the match was canceled in the afternoon, greatly irritating the Valenciennois. The League had deprogrammed this match arguing that Niort had not been able to provide the medical monitoring certificates while Niort had explained that this deprogramming had been taken in agreement with the League. Versons which differed and today the Commission of the League decided to give a lost match 3 goals to 0 to Chamois Niortais. A very strong decision therefore.
#CNFCVAFC – Meeting on January 6 in application of the protocol for the organization of Covid-19 matches, the Competitions Commission of the @LFPfr decided to give away lost game for @ChamoisNiortais.
