The organizers of Wimbledon are planning for the Grand Slam tournament (June 28 to July 11) with a reduced number of spectators.
This is the most likely solution due to the coronavirus pandemic, said the organizers, who had canceled the tournament last year. The audience capacity should be decided as late as possible in order to allow the highest possible number of visitors.
Unlike in previous years, the players will all have to stay in official tournament hotels. Traditionally, many players, including Roger Federer, rent a house in which they live with their family or support team during the two-week major.
