The situation from the 88th minute of the Glasgow Rangers match with Slavia Prague graduated to a scandalous conclusion and the subsequent aftermath of the rematch of the round of the European League. On leaving for the locker room, the stitcher’s defender, Ondřej Kúdela, was attacked in such a way that doctors had to treat bloody injuries to his face.
What specifically happened?
With 87 minutes played, Connor Goldson nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. During the subsequent break for treatment, Ondřej Kúdela came to Glen Kamar and whispered something in his ear. Suddenly the melee broke, after the Slavic defender, most of the players of the home team suddenly started. Coach Steven Gerrard later announced at a press conference that Kudela should have racistly insulted Kamaru.
“After the match, he told me that one of the Slavists attacked him racistly. I trust him one hundred percent. I hope that UEFA will thoroughly investigate and do not sweep it under the rug,” Gerrard said.
However, he denied Koudel’s racist remark. “I told him: ‘You’re a fucking guy.’ It was said in emotions after two red cards and a series of brutal interventions by an opponent, but I completely reject racism,” he said.

Slavia categorically opposes the fact that the player Ondrej Kudela racistly insulted the players’ opponents in any way. It tells us that our player was physically attacked after the match. At the request of Slavia, the case was resolved by the local police. We would like to see a detailed investigation of the whole situation by UEFA.

The aggression of the home players did not end with the final whistle, but continued as they left for the booths.
“After the match, the team was not allowed into the cabins and Ondřej Kúdela was cowardly beaten with fists in the face by Kamara in the presence of coach Steven Gerrard. UEFA representatives, who were personally present at the whole incident, were also shocked,” released late at night.
