Michael Jackson’s son recalled his childhood in a rare interview – and how he viewed his father’s global fame.
Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr. – who alternates the names Mike and Prince – is the eldest of the King of Pop’s three children at 24.
He has a younger sister, Paris, 22, and a brother, Prince Michael Jackson II, 19 – who goes through Bigi and was called Blanket by his father.
Michael died at the age of 50 in 2009, when Prince was just 12.
Now Prince has opened up about how he views his father’s fame, revealing to FOX Soul that he has seen superfans pass out because of him at a concert.
He said there was one “one a-ha moment” where he knew his dad was a megastar, but there were “little seeds that grew and grew old.”
“I saw people would follow us everywhere,” he said, “people would just reach out and touch my dad.
“But that was really when I was about 10 or 11, when I was watching a video of my dad playing… he was playing outside, and you see this sea of people.
