Swimming: Fanny Deberghes dives back to Marseille

The Béarnaise Fanny Deberghes, specialist in breaststroke, will line up in 50m, 100m and 200m breaststroke, from this Friday to Sunday at the Golden Tour Camille Muffat meeting in Marseille, qualifier for the European Championships and the Olympic Games.
To date, only five French swimmers already have their ticket for Tokyo: four have achieved the Olympic preselection times in the first qualifying period: Béryl Gastaldello (100 NL), Mélanie Hénique (50 NL), Marie Wattel Marie (100 PAP), and Florent Manaudou (50NL). David Aubry is also selected in 10km – open water.
Fanny Deberghes is not really betting on this competition, with very high minimums, to qualify for the Games; it will be more a question of stepping up in view of the French championships in June which will also allow tickets to be awarded for Tokyo, with more accessible minima.

She will try this weekend to get her qualification for the European Championships scheduled from May 10 to 23 in Budapest.
