How satisfied are you with ninth place in the 13-team North-West division? Justin Kampmeier: Our goal was a top 10 position and if you look at who we were in the division with, for example Werder Bremen and Borussia Mönchengladbach, then ninth place is already good. In the end we were even twelve points ahead of Bremen, the German club champions of the past two years – that’s a nice feeling, of course. How early in the season did you realize that you would be able to keep up as a debutant? Kampmeier: From the third or fourth match day, after we had good results against Bayer Leverkusen and FC Schalke 04, also two big names in esports.
