He is also known for promoting players from his own youth. Streich’s ability to improve young players is also known to his coaching colleagues.
ADVOCATE IN FLICK
In Bayern coach Hansi Flick, Christian Streich would have a prominent advocate for the office of national coach. When asked whether he would trust Streich as national coach, he replied: “I trust Christian to do everything.” Flick, who is himself traded as a national coach and was already an assistant coach under Jogi Löw, trusts the Freiburg coach 100 percent with this position.

Prank shies away from the public
