Where to stream Oscar nominated films

The nominations for the 93rd edition of the Oscars have been announced Monday, and the awards ceremony will be held in Los Angeles on April 25: some of the nominated films had time to be released in Italian cinemas, last summer, or to be presented to the public at the Venice Film Festival: this is the case of Nomadland, That night in Miami …, Pieces of a Woman e Quo Vadis, Aida?. For all other films, with theaters closed in Italy and in most countries, the only possibility is to see them on streaming platforms.

Among the nominees for Best Picture, two are already available on Netflix and one is on Prime Video, Amazon’s streaming service. Nomadland will be available from April 30, while the remaining four should have news in the coming weeks. In all the platforms listed below, the films are available by subscription or rental, as in the case of YouTube and I Wonderfull, the streaming service of the Mymovies portal. The viewing of most of the shorts is open to everyone on YouTube.
