785 Montferlanders have to do it from April 1 with one hour less help with the household. That hour stands for washing and ironing, which from then on takes place outdoors.
The municipality of Montferland has outsourced this to healthcare provider ZorgPlus, which collects dirty laundry at the door and returns it clean later. They have their doubts in the lawyer Wevers’ office whether this method will hold up legally.
