Evan Blass has shared marketing material for both phones that reveals much of what is coming tomorrow. On the advertising posters, both certain specifications and the appearance of the phones appear, and one of the things that is surprising is how similar the two models are here.
5-kamera system
Both get optical image stabilization, the A42 gets a 64-megapixel camera, 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle, 5-megapixel depth sensor. Unfortunately, the camera specifications for the A72 are missing. What “3X optimal zoom” is is unknown if it is not a typo for optical zoom.
Both phones seem to come with Infinity-O panel, while the size varies slightly. The A52 seems to come with a 6.5 ″ screen, while the A72 gets a 6.7 ″. The battery size also varies from 4500mAh to 5000mAh.
The A52 seems to have 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and the option to expand with a memory card, while there is currently no information about the A72’s insides. Both are rumored to get IP67 certification and high refresh rates in the screens.
