IHK St.Gallen-Appenzell criticizes high test hurdles for companies – St.Gallen only allows companies with at least 20 employees to participate

Starting this week, companies can regularly test their workforce – at the expense of the federal government. This is what the Federal Council’s new test strategy envisages. Interested companies in St. Gallen must report to the canton by Tuesday. But some are excluded per se: the canton has defined a lower limit for the participation of at least 20 employees.

So now the repeated testing in companies begins – also in the canton of St.Gallen. The trigger for this is the Federal Council’s new test offensive. Everyone in Switzerland has been able to get tested for free since Monday – regardless of whether they have symptoms or not. And companies can also test their workforce regularly from this week – at the expense of the federal government.
