American singer Tina Turner has announced the end of her career, wrote the British newspaper The Sun.
“The 81-year-old rock music legend announced in a new documentary that she is leaving the stage. The singer of many hits has suffered a stroke, cancer, and in 2017 she had a kidney transplant,” said the London media.
“I want to spend the last years of my life away from the spotlight and cameras,” the singer said, the newspaper added.
Turner added that he also suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder. “I still can’t get rid of Ike’s nightmare,” she said.
“Ike and Tina Tanner have been married for almost eighteen years. Their marriage was dissolved in 1978. The main reason for the divorce was domestic violence,” the British tabloid recalled.
