“We are seeing a wave all over the country. Therefore, the measures will most likely come into force on Saturday in Sofia and on Monday throughout the country. We have another 2-3 days to refine. So that we can control the peak that we expect in the next two weeks, “said Assoc. Prof. Kunchev. This means that the lockdown from local will grow into national.
He said it was probably time for a national decision on the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Restrictions on traffic between settlements are not being discussed, because it has been seen that this is not working,” said the state chief health inspector. “The main goal is to avoid the possibility of transmitting the virus. It is already clear to everyone that it is more easily transmitted at a younger age,” the NIGHT member assured.
He also commented on the side effects of those vaccinated against the virus: “The numbers are still being monitored, but the wave has flooded almost the entire country,” he explained. “Everything we study at our level we send to the European Medicines Agency to make the most accurate decision. When there is a case of an adverse reaction, depending on the autopsy, we recruit the relevant experts in the field to give their competent an opinion that takes time. The decision will be pan-European whether this vaccine can be used and from what point we can say that it is safe. Until then it will not be used, “he explained.
