They create solidarity campaign Conecta Peru to donate a mobile device in good condition for the benefit of education – Stakeholders Sustainability

  • It is expected to collect 50 mobile devices (cell phones, tablets or laptops) in good condition.
  • The proceeds will be donated to institutions that work with children and young people in vulnerable situations and that require a device to receive their virtual classes.

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused the closure of thousands of schools nationwide and forced face-to-face teaching to go virtual, but the reality is that not all students have a mobile device (cell phone, tablet or laptop) to receive classes.

Understanding this situation, the solidarity campaign “Conecta Perú” is created, an initiative that invites all Peruvians to donate a mobile device in good condition to be donated to institutions that work with young people and children in vulnerable situations. In this way, it seeks to give a hand to allow these children to receive their virtual classes throughout the year.

“We are convinced that, if we all come together, we can contribute a grain of sand so that our children and young people have the necessary tools to continue studying. This pandemic has affected us all, but we know that education cannot stop ”, comments Camila Rumaldo, in charge of the Marketing area of ARTCO Arte y Diseño Contemporáneo, one of the promoters of the Conecta Peru campaign.

The campaign will last until March 31 and it is expected to collect 50 mobile devices. To provide security to donors, a record will be made of the equipment delivered, the name of the donor and will be followed up until the delivery of your donation. Volunteers can leave their mobile device at the following collection points:

  • Spondylus – Miraflores: Av. July 28 1005. CC Paso 28 – Store 1017, first floor.
