POCO has scheduled an event for March 22 which is expected to launch the POCO F3 and POCO X3 Pro which according to rumors will pack a 120Hz screen powered by the Snapdragon 860 chipset and have a large 5,200 mAh battery.
Bejagadget.com – It’s been a long time since we’ve heard about the arrival of a new smartphone from LITTLE, and even POCO itself has also started hinting at the existence of its new phone with a number of teasers they have shared in the last few weeks.
Now, we will take a look at POCO’s new smartphone on March 22nd. The news comes after POCO Global shared an announcement on Twitter that it is gearing up for the event on that date which is planned to be held online and will be broadcast live on the company’s official YouTube, Facebook or Twitter.
POCO however did not mention anything about the devices they will be presenting at the event, but many suspect that at the event. the Xiaomi sub-brand it will likely announce two smartphones which include the POCO F3 and the POCO X3 Pro.
The two smartphones have been running in a number of leaks for a long time, in particular the compliant POCO F3 the latest leak will be the global version of Redmi k40 launched in China last February.
As for the POCO X3 Pro according to reports will come with Snapdragon 860. This is the new chipset from Qualcomm and the POCO X3 Pro is a strong candidate as the first smartphone to use it.
Snapdragon 860 itself hasn’t officially launched yet, but rumors reveal that even the chipset is made to be the intermediary Snapdragon 855 and Snapdragon 865 with all the leaks showing that it is a new member of the Snapdragon 8-Series mobile platform operating on the 4G network.
Another leak regarding the rumored POCO X3 Pro specifications is that the screen offers Full HD Plus resolution and has support 120Hz refresh rate, plus two memory configuration options such as 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB.
Meanwhile, to keep it running, the POCO X3 Pro will reportedly be equipped with a battery with a capacity of 5,200 mAh which is very large and should be enough to satisfy users in carrying out exciting activities throughout the day and is also expected to arrive equipped with support for a fast charging system.
Until now, POCO hasn’t revealed much about the specifications of this new smartphone. But when it becomes official, the POCO X3 Pro is expected to be available in color variants such as Blue, Black and Bronze. As far as prices are concerned, the company is expected to sell them with a starting price tag of INR 21,000 or roughly around IDR 4.1 million.
