The awards, which were postponed from the original January date due to the coronavirus pandemic, were accompanied by strict hygiene measures. The stars of the American music scene had to keep their distance and wear veils.

“We will never forget 2020, but we are full of hope for the future,” said actor Trevor Noah, many of the guides to the gala evening.

Peralice Beyoncé, discovery of Megan Thee Stallion

Beyoncé won several awards on Monday night, including the best R&B song for the song Black Parade celebrating black culture, reaching a record 28 Grammys. She also participated in the song Savage, which earned her and rapper Megan Thee Stallion victory in the category of the best rap song.

Swift, who released her eighth studio album Folklore last summer, matched Monday’s third album victory of the year with music giants such as Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra and Paul Simon. The only four-time winner in this category is a man from behind the scenes of Tom Coyne’s music production, who has participated in a number of stars, including Swift and Beyoncé.

And the recording of Bohemian Tales, which is a success of conductor Jakub Hrůša, was nominated for the best solo in classical music. In the end, however, only nominations remained in all cases.
