In medical terms, abdominal noises are called bubbling and are a normal aspect of the digestion process. What’s going on there? Ingested food is pushed from the stomach to the intestines by certain muscle contractions. During this process, gases are formed which, combined with the liquids, produce these sounds similar to the sounds heard in the water pipes. When the stomach is full, the sound is somewhat muffled by food, but when it is empty, it sounds louder, like an echo in the abdomen. Hence the belief that if your cheeks squeak, it means you are hungry. Other causes of gout are food allergies, diarrhea, ulcerative colitis, lazy bile.
The solution is to eat regularly, small and frequent meals, to avoid foods that produce gas, to be careful not to swallow air. For this, do not eat fast, chew enough every mouthful, do not drink water during the meal, do not talk and do not shake. Soft drinks, chewing gum, smoking also promote swallowing air.
Set fixed meal times. In this way, the stomach and body will get used to the program.
Bring a banana, a packet of whole grain biscuits or nuts, hazelnuts, almonds. When you’re hungry, you nibble on something.
There are also teas to help with this, which can be drunk after a meal. Mint, ginger, basil and chamomile help digestion, promote gas elimination and have a calming effect.
