Brazil reports more than 1,000 deaths from coronavirus and exceeds 36,000 new positive cases in one day

The Brazilian health authorities notified this Monday 1,057 deaths from covid-19 and other 36,239 infections illness in the last 24 hours.

According to the report of the National Council of Health Secretaries, with these new figures the total number of deaths amounts to 279,286 and the number of positive cases rises to 11,519,609 since the health crisis began in the country. Until Sunday, those infected with coronavirus were 11,483,370, while 278,229 deaths accumulated.
