More than a year has passed since Marino Hinestroza, a striker trained in the lower divisions of América de Cali, signed his loan contract with Palmeiras de Brasil (current champion of the Copa Libertadores).
Their bond ends next December, but the ‘Verdao’ has the possibility to exercise the purchase option before that moment (there is talk of a figure of 1.8 million dollars for 70% of his sports rights).
Last Friday, March 12, Hinestroza scored a double and delivered an assist in what meant the 8-0 victory of Palmeiras against Presidente Medici for the Copa Brasil Sub 20. His outstanding performances would indicate that it is a matter of time for Palmeiras definitely decide to stay with the 19-year-old.

In Colombian soccer, Marino debuted in 2018 with the Orsomarso of the second division (where he played 7 games) and with América de Cali he only managed to play one match for Copa Colombia (he played 44 minutes against Boca Juniors de Cali).
