Chelsea considered to be problematic on the front lines, especially in the striker position. The solution is only one, bringing in players like Erling Haaland.
This season, Chelsea have struggled to compete in Premier League. Despite spending too much by recruiting players like Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, and Hakim Ziyech, The Blues remain sluggish.
Currently, Chelsea is still stuck in fourth place Premier League standings, below Manchester City, Manchester United, and Leicester City. In the process, Blue was quite ‘bleeding’.
Chelsea underwent a difficult period in December 2020-January 2021, which forced management to fire Frank Lampard. Improvements come when Thomas Tuchel become a manager, but that still leaves records.
Together with Tuchel, Chelsea often find it difficult to score goals. Although unbeaten in the first 12 matches with Tuchel, Chelsea have ended three games without a goal. Most recently, Chelsea was arrested Leeds United 0-0 at Elland Road, Saturday (13/3/2021).

“He’s the No. 9 player. There is a lot in this squad, there is quality in all areas, a strong squad.
“You just need one magic spark, that No. 9, that focal point and that will turn this club back to times of success in challenging for titles on a regular basis,” Cole said.
In line with Joe Cole, Rio Ferdinand, a former Manchester United defender, also suggested that Chelsea move for players like Haaland. Because, the Blue’s front line is currently not good, with Olivier Giroud being old and Tammy Abraham not being consistent enough.
“If they [Chelsea] want to be a contender in the Champions League, the Premier League, then Giroud, both when Frank was here and now under the same management, he has been a player who played a bit of a role. That’s because of his age, obviously, “said Ferdinand.
“He’s not young Giroud, he’s at a different stage of his career. I don’t think he always wants to play every game. I think Tammy will put himself there, but again he has to be fit and stay fit.”
“But I think, at the level of this club now, they have to go to the market to buy the No. 9 which is no doubt about it. Haaland is what everyone is talking about. He is a player at his best.”
