Titanfall 3 is set to be released as early as 2022, according to an EA Insider.

Back in February, EA confirmed that the future of the Titanfall franchise is in the hands of developer Respawn Entertainment, leading to speculation that a 2016 successor to Titanfall 2 is on the way.
In conversation with IGN EA’s Chief Studios Officer Laura Miele said whether a Titanfall 3 comes or not is up to respawn.
„[Respawn] will determine what the future holds for Apex and Titanfall. I don’t believe in leading game teams or telling them what to create, it has to come from the player community and the inspiration and motivation of the developers. “
While that’s hardly a confirmation that a new Titanfall game is on the way or even in development, a new update from trusted insider Tom Henderson has strongly hinted that Titanfall 3 could be around as early as 2022. Henderson has already correctly predicted a number of details about Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare and recently revealed so much information about the upcoming Battlefield 6 that his Twitter account was even banned.

Rumors about Titanfall 3 have been circulating for a number of years, with Respawn outright denying reports that the game had been in active development since last year.
“Nothing is currently in development,” said Vince Zampella from Respawn at the time, “but it’s always there. You can see the little things [durch Lore in Apex Legends] reappear. At some point I personally would like to see some kind of resurrection there. We’ll see if I can make that possible. “
Still, it’s worth noting that EA Motive, the studio behind Star Wars: Squadrons, is apparently working on an established EA franchise.
