The contract matter between FC Barcelona and Lionel Messi finally seems to be moving. Father and advisor Jorge Messi, at least that’s what the Argentinian local journalist Maximiliano Grillo says, will start the trip to Catalonia’s capital on Monday.
“Jorge Messi has planned to travel to Barcelona next Monday,” revealed Grillo. “What is being said here in Argentina is that the gesture that Messi has gone to the vote should be understood as an invitation to renew.”
Recently, Joan Laporta was officially confirmed as the new club president of FC Barcelona. Jorge Messi wants to talk to the new strong man about his son’s contract situation on Monday.
