SV Henstedt-Ulzburg: Dennis Limani comes from New York with Bundesliga experience

The transfer of the 23-year-old to Henstedt-Ulzburg is largely due to SV trainers Dominik Fseisi has been launched. “Dennis and I know each other from our time together at Eintracht Norderstedt, where I was already his trainer. The contact never really broke off after that. I am pleased that we can now revive our old bond.”

Limani moved from Norderstedt to Holstein Kiel, where he played thirty times in the Bundesliga under 19, scoring four goals. After a one-year interlude at SV Rugenbergen (Oberliga Hamburg, 19 games, one goal), the left-footed player went to the United States in the summer of 2017, where he was one of the coveted places in the ranks of the Concordia Clippers in Bronxville (New York) US College League.

After three years in the USA, Limani is about to return to Germany. “I asked Dennis whether he would like to play with me again after his return and he said yes. Under other circumstances we probably wouldn’t have been able to win such a top-class player as a national division.” Fseisi particularly praises Limani’s speed and one-on-one skills. In the coming days, HU wants to announce further details of the future squad.
