The city has the idea of building another, more functional footbridge to replace that of Nicauds, closed to the public since 2014.
An estimate of 936,000 euros for its repair
However, the supporters of its rehabilitation do not demobilize. On February 22, Régine Giraud, president of the Montluçon Patrimoine association and former running mate of Joseph Roudillon in the 2020 municipal elections, presented the mayor with a petition of 500 signatures for his safeguard.
