Fashion man Martijn N. on non-active after sexual abuse accusation | Inland

Both newspapers spoke to 146 people involved and collected numerous documents and testimonies. At least three victims reported N.’s behavior to the police and he was charged with attempted manslaughter. Last Monday he was allegedly arrested in connection with a sex offense.

Three of the men who accuse N. of transgressive sexual behavior towards NRC and Het Parool think they were drugged by him; they suspect with the drug GHB. One of them was a teenager at the time. He spent a night with N. in 2011, got something to drink, and the next day was completely unaware of what had happened. He was shocked when he looked in the mirror, he says. “Bite marks. Purple circles on my bottom. Bruised spots. ” Crying, he shows the journalists a picture of the injuries.

Since Moam was founded in 2013, Martijn N. has undergone a comet-like development within the Dutch fashion world. He collaborated with, among others, Viktor & Rolf, the Rijksmuseum and department store Hema, which included a ‘Moam’ clothing line on the shelves.

Following the publication, the board of Moam has suspended N. An independent research agency is also engaged. The fashion entrepreneur himself did not want to respond to the allegations, write NRC and Het Parool. His lawyer, Gerard Spong, said his client “denies and disputes being guilty of any criminal offense”
