Thursday March 11, 2021, the town hall of Bazas (Gironde) donated 5,000 masks to the children of the Léo-Drouyn elementary school.
In the midst of an epidemic of covid-19, the elected officials of Bazas wanted to offer these masks.
Isabelle Dexpert, mayor of Bazas, says:
“We offer ten masks per child plus a reserve that will be used at the discretion of the director, in case of forgetting, for the needs of a family or other …”
Elementary school Léo-Drouyn de Bazas has 14 classes, including 2 ulis. It accommodates no less than 315 students. “Last December, says the director, Thierry Deville, the pétanque club had already given us masks. “
