The Great War broke out between the Yemeni Army and the Houthi in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH – Fierce battles between armies Yaman internationally recognized and supported Houthi militias Iran broke out in Hodeidah on Friday (12/3).

The conflict was reported by the Yemeni army to Al Arabiya. “The Yemeni army has made great progress in the area and in their last stronghold north of Marib in recent days,” said the source.

The Houthis currently control Hodeidah and often use the city as a launching point for operations and attacks.

“Until the Yemeni army takes control of Hodeidah, weapons will continue to be smuggled into the Houthis,” the source told Al Arabiya.

Iran is accused of supporting the Houthis in the fight against the Yemeni government. Iran is also accused of supplying the group with weapons, such as drones and missiles that are often used to target Saudi Arabia.
