Expert: Gotong Royong Vaccination Should Not Interrupt Government Programs

Koko also agreed on the government regulation which requires that the vaccines used in the Mutual Cooperation Vaccination be different from the vaccination programs of the government. The vaccines used in the Mutual Cooperation Vaccination cannot be Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, and Novavax because the four vaccines are used by the government.

Then, Koko also welcomed that in the Permenkes regulation that employees and laborers must be given free of charge and the price of vaccines is determined by the government.

“What is important in my opinion is that independent vaccination (mutual cooperation) should not interfere with the government’s vaccination program,” he said in a press statement written on Friday (12/3/2021).
