Suddenly, while looking further, I came across Doja Cat’s interview for the online magazine Dazed, and I learned some very interesting things there! Especially compared to his clip “Moo”, where Dazed was surprised to see a lot of references to the world of video games, and pixel art ^^!

Doja Cat: I’m very much into gaming, but I don’t game competitively. I just love unearthing games from my childhood and playing GTA 5 a lot. I had a GameCube, Wii, Nintendo DS light, N64, GB Advanced, GB color, SEGA – the list really goes on. I like to pull a lot of my inspiration from games I played as a kid. The clothes they wore in the games. The music. Everything really ties into my overall style. I have a song called “Nintendhoe” that I made a few weeks ago about all of this.
Doja Cat responds that she is really deeply rooted in the gaming world, even if she does not play these competitively (in eSport what). She loves playing GTA 5 and playing old games from her childhood. She had a Nintendo GameCube, a Nintendo Wii, a Nintendo DS Light, a Nintendo 64, a Game Boy Advance, a Game Boy Color, a SEGA console etc…
DojaCat specifies that she draws her inspiration from video games, and that is how her music called “Nintendhoe” came out.
His latest clip, Streets, is 12th worldwide Youtube trend (!) And has already achieved 13 million views in 2 days… It’s totally crazy!
