- Full rate pension: 172 quarters or 43 annuities for people born in 1973 and later
- Legal retirement age: 62 years old. Age of full retirement: 67 years old.
- Amount of the gross pension **: 1576 euros / month on average, men: 1806 euros, women: 1367 euros. 1392 on average in 2010.
- Discount and premium: 1,25% less on the pension per quarter missing before 62 years and more on the pension per additional quarter validated after 62 years.
- Age of retirement from the general scheme: 24% before 62, 58% between 62 and 65, 18% after 65.
- Minimum old age / ASPA (Solidarity allowance for the elderly): 568,000 people receive an allowance paid according to resources and family situation. Single person up to 903 euros / month. Couple up to 1402 euros / month. This has been revalued by 100 euros / month for a single person (155 euros for a couple) since 2017.
