Puderbach. ?? Good education needs the efforts of the federal, state and local authorities. The federal funds are an important contribution to the expansion of the daycare center and to a good work-life balance in our country, says MP Lefkowitz. In the current round of funding, daycare centers, providers and municipalities in Rhineland-Palatinate are receiving around 11.4 million euros from the federal day-care center program. The investment funds can be used to fund 1,332 additional places in 34 day-care centers in Rhineland-Palatinate. A total of 48 million euros will flow to Rhineland-Palatinate from the federal government’s economic and future package in 2020 and 2021.

“Early childhood education has long been a focus of the SPD-led state government,” emphasizes Sven Lefkowitz. This year alone, the state government is investing 900 million euros in early childhood education.
