COLFAX, California – A man was arrested for allegedly selling marijuana gummies to a minor via Snapchat, according to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office.
Last Friday, authorities received a call from a parent concerned that his son had fallen ill, then it was discovered that the 14-year-old had eaten edible marijuana gummies.
According to authorities, the boy was able to buy the drugs from Snapchat.
A day later, agents were able to identify the suspect as 19-year-old Penn Valley resident Christian Brock-Hurtado and although he attempted to escape authorities, he was eventually arrested.
Brock-Hurtado faces charges of endangering a minor, supplying marijuana to a minor and evading a police officer.
