The CSA Credit Committee includes Česká spořitelna, a subsidiary of the airport and passengers with a CZK 7,000 ticket.

CSA owes 1.8 billion crowns, more than half to passengers.

Municipal Court in Prague p the decline of Czech Airlines also appointed an interim creditors’ committee to approve the main steps of the new insolvency administrator. Representatives of banks, suppliers, sales representatives and one of the passengers meet in it.

This follows from today’s court ruling. The members of the committee are Czech Airlines Technics, which belongs to the state Airport Prague, Česká spořitelna, CSA sales offices in Poland and Hungary Air World Services and passengers Tomáš Hefr. These are creditors who have already contacted the court when filing the insolvency petition. The Interim Committee approves the insolvency administrator’s actions and oversees his activities until the first creditors’ meeting scheduled for June.

In its proposal, CSA itself came up with a plan to establish an interim creditors’ committee, which should consist of three members, one secured creditor, one unsecured creditor from the group of debtor suppliers and one unsecured creditor entitled to unrealized flights.

The creditors’ committee includes those creditors who have proposed themselves to the court. “I use the debtor’s services on a regular basis. I consider myself a regular and loyal customer of the debtor and I consider that, through my membership of the Provisional Creditors’ Committee, I could contribute to the overall benefit and interest of all creditors, in particular those of passengers,“Hefr wrote to the court, to which CSA owes CZK 7,273 for tickets.

The journey to the creditors’ committee of other members is similar: Air World Services has a receivable of less than one million crowns for the sale of CSA tickets in Hungary and Poland. Česká spořitelna ČSA owes 99.3 million crowns, Czech Airlines Technics a total of 121 million crowns.

According to the insolvency petition, CSA has approximately 266 creditors, mainly from among suppliers, and approximately 230,000 creditors from among passengers, mainly due to flights not operated in the past. It owes suppliers about 800 million crowns, and passengers owed one billion crowns. Inskol became the insolvency administrator.
