MEPs from the Civic Coalition presented information about Daniel Obajtek’s “another undisclosed property from a secret property”. Cezary Tomczyk and Marek Sowa said at the conference that the current head of PKN Orlen donated the land to his brother, and after a few years he donated it back to Obajtkowo, but with real estate “worth about five million zlotys, which was built in a very strange way “. The words of the KO deputies were referred to by the representative of the president of Orlen and his brother.

The chairman of the Civic Coalition club Cezary Tomczyk and his deputy Marek Sowa spoke at the Wednesday press conference about “another undisclosed property from the secret property of Mr. President Daniel Obajtek”. Tomczyk noted that this is “not just an ordinary house, it is a palace”. As he explained, it is a property in Łężkowice in the Małopolskie Voivodeship.
–
The MP added that “his story is very interesting” and “talks about the flow of property”.

Tomczyk: Daniel Obajtek’s fortune flowed to his brother, and then back to Daniel Obajtek
– We remember how Mr Sowa showed how the property flowed from Mr Daniel Obajtek to his mother, how it was simply rewritten – said Tomczyk. He referred to the conference that on Saturday in the market square in Lanckorona (Małopolskie Voivodeship) was organized by MP Marek Sowa. At that time, he said that the president of PKN Orlen had bought two real estates in this town, which he then transferred to his own mother.

–
While “Wyborcza” described the case of the Obajtka manor house in the hamlet of Borkówko near Borek Lęborski in Pomerania. Two years ago, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage granted PLN 800,000 for the renovation of this property – it was the greatest support from the Ministry in Pomerania. We mentioned the manor house in the material “Black on the White” by Fr. career of the president of Orlen.
–
– Today we will show how the property of Mr. Daniel Obajtek flowed to his brother, the forester, and then how at the same moment it flowed back to Mr. Daniel Obajtek – said the chairman of the KO club on Wednesday. He argued that “this palace is only one of the real estate of President Obajtek, worth about five million zlotys, which was built in a very strange way, also very quickly”.
–
–
“It was Łężkowice that became Daniel Obajtek’s promised land”
The deputy head of the Civic Coalition club said, however, that “it was Łężkowice that became Daniel Obajtek’s promised land”. He explained that in 2009 Obajtek bought 20 ares there.
–
He also added that “in 2011, Daniel Obajtek transferred this plot of land as a donation to his brother, the forester Bartłomiej”. – As soon as Bartłomiej Obajtek received the land, he started a large investment process – said MP Sowa.
–
– Only in 2015, i.e. at the end of the rule of Daniel Obajtek in the Pcim commune, the buildings looked as follows: there was a house, or rather a beautiful palace of about 450 square meters, there was a swimming pool, infrastructure, small architecture inside, a garage – the opposition politician enumerated.
–
– At the time when PiS took power, when changes were made to the Penal Code, when [Jarosław – przyp. red.] Kaczyński issued a peculiar decree on Obajtek’s impunity, the entire property and buildings were given to Daniel Obajtek by way of a donation by Bartłomiej Obajtek – reported Sowa.
–
Speaking of “changes to the code”, he referred to the amendment to the Code of Criminal Procedure and other acts, which took place in 2016, which was an initiative of MPs from the Law and Justice party. It included a “special provision” (article 5, section 1 of the Act of June 10, 2016 on the amendment of the Code of Criminal Procedure and other acts), which allowed to withdraw from the court indictment against Obajtek. The fate of this case and this provision was described by “Gazeta Wyborcza”.

“When Obajtek felt completely unpunished, he asked his brother to return his property to him”
As Sowa pointed out, the brother of the current head of PKN Orlen “not only built this beautiful palace out of this relatively small salary, but he gave this palace along with this land to Daniel Obajtkowi”. – On May 6, 2016, when the amendment of the Criminal Code was being processed, when Daniel Obajtek felt completely unpunished, he asked his brother to return his property to him – explained the MP.
–
He emphasized that in the following years Obajtek expanded the property. He also noted that “the palace had already been built in 2013”. – So the forester did not need a few years, he only needed two years – said the Vice-President of the KO. He also stressed that “this plot is not encumbered with any mortgage”.
–
“We will demand explanations at the session of the Sejm”
Tomczyk noted that the palace with a swimming pool and plot “was built by a forester’s brother with an average gross salary of seven thousand, in just a few years”. – Would any of you, with a gross salary of seven thousand zlotys, be able to build a palace for five million zlotys within two years? he asked rhetorically.
–
– President Obajtek has a number of properties that he did not disclose in the property declarations, which flowed from hand to hand, which went mainly to members of his family, but not only – said the head of the KO club.
–
– We will be showing all these elements. Today we can announce that we will demand explanations at the session of the Sejm. In this case, a question on current matters will be asked, so that we will find out clearly what the issue of withdrawing the indictment against Mr. Daniel Obajtek and whether anyone from the Polish state has ever checked these cases – informed Tomczyk.
–
– Who is hiding Mr. Daniel Obajtek today? Who is surrounding him with a protective umbrella today? – He was asking. – Before our eyes a caste of new oligarchs is being formed. President Obajtek is one of such new oligarchs – assessed the chairman of the Civic Coalition club. According to Tomczyk, today Daniel Obajtek “has a protective umbrella of the Polish state led by PiS”.

Plenipotentiary of Obajtek and his brother “firmly denies all speculation”
Maciej Zaborowski, plenipotentiary of Daniel Obajtek and Bartłomiej Obajtek, in a statement sent to PAP “strongly denies all speculations given at the press conference by MPs Marek Sowa and Cezary Tomczyk”.
–
“It should be emphasized that the materials presented at the conference not only violated the right to privacy of the above-mentioned people, but also compromised the safety of people living on the premises of the property presented at the conference in an unprecedented manner,” he wrote.
–
“The inept attempt to link Mr. Daniel Obajtek and Mr. Bartłomiej Obajtek with the allegedly illegal funds invested in real estate in Łężkowice, grossly violates the personal rights of both Mr. Daniel Obajtek and his brother,” we read in the statement.
–
“Legal steps will be taken in the near future”
Zaborowski added that none of the opposition MPs asked Daniel Obajtek or Bartłomiej Obajtek “with a question about the reasons underlying the donation and with a request to refer to the financial resources available for the purchase of real estate and its construction.”
–
“In particular, I deny that in the years 2011-2016 there were investments even close to the value of PLN 5 million on the property in question. The value of this property is several times lower. I also deny that Mr. Bartłomiej Obajtek made significant outlays on the property exceeding his financial capacity” – wrote Zaborowski.
–
He also reported that Bartłomiej Obajtek “ran several different types of economic activity at that time, as well as had private savings”. “Moreover, the real estate donation made by Mr. Daniel Obajtek in 2011 and the return donation in 2016 constituted only a family settlement between the brothers and their mother” – he added.
–
Zaborowski also said that the property of the president of PKN Orlen, Daniel Obajtek, was repeatedly inspected by the Central Anticorruption Bureau and other state services. “Due to the dissemination of false information about Mr. Daniel Obajtek and Mr. Bartłomiej Obajtek by MPs Marek Sowa and Cezary Tomczyk, legal steps will be taken in the near future” – the plenipotentiary announced.

“Obajtka Tapes”
“Gazeta Wyborcza” has published a series of articles about “Obajtka tapes“The disclosed recordings show – wrote” GW “- that the current president of PKN Orlen, Daniel Obajtek, when he was still the head of Pcim,” he managed the TT Plast company from the back seat “, and the regulations forbid combining the position of a commune head with business activities.
–
Obajtek was convincing later in an interview for PAP that he never, being the mayor, worked “for this or for any other company” and did not break the law.
–
In subsequent publications, “Wyborcza” presented, inter alia, the circumstances actions of the prosecutor’s office against Obajtek. As she wrote, the decision to refuse to initiate an investigation into false testimony that he allegedly made in the past was made in 2016 by the assessor, not the prosecutor. It was about a case that was a derivative of the trial in which the current president of PKN Orlen testified as a witness.
–
“GW” also described what happened with indictment against Obajtek, which went to court in 2013 and related to another case. “It concerned the activities of Maciej C., pseudonym ‘President’, and his gang. (…) The investigators accused the then mayor of Pcim of cooperating with an organized criminal group, accepting a bribe from its boss and cheating” – the daily reported.
–
In April 2016, that is “a little over a month after Zbigniew Ziobro took over the prosecutor’s office” – we read in the journal – the proceedings concerning Obajtek were taken from the District Prosecutor’s Office in Ostrów Wielkopolski and handed over to prosecutors from Piotrków Trybunalski. In September 2016, these investigators applied for the indictment to be withdrawn from the court and returned to the prosecutor’s office. They argued that “it is necessary to supplement the evidence”.
–
–
The case of the Maciej C. gang returned to court in June 2017, but “without any threads related to Obajtek,” the newspaper reported. She indicated that the recipe that allowed the prosecutor’s office to withdraw the Obajtek case from the court, is a “special provision”, ie article 5, section 1 of the Act of June 10, 2016 on the amendment of the Code of Criminal Procedure and other acts. It was included in a project initiated by PiS MPs.
–
The “special provision” entered into force on August 5, 2016, and a month later, on September 5, on its basis, the prosecutor withdrew Obajtek’s case from the court, “GW” reported. Soon after, on November 30, 2016, a modification of the “special provision” was adopted, which liquidated the possibility of submitting a complaint against the withdrawal of the indictment from the court This amendment also applied to decisions issued before its entry into force.

Where is evidence? Evidence produced by anti-polish TVN? Or, antypolish Gazeta Wyborcza?
Before this government received power in 2015, POstkomunists government “Platforma Obywatelska” (PO) was oppressing Daniel Obajter only because he was on side of conservatists. Before this govt got power, for quorter of century power was in the hands of former communists. Look at wiki example Alexander Kwasniewski president of RP former communist, and premier Leszek Miller. Entire economy was in hands of the biggest criminals- communists. Present government is the only Polish and legitimate government not related to communist criminals. So, whatever you read from antipolish levacs media such as GW, TVN, Wirtualna Polska, Onet, etc is half-true or lie.
