Jokowi has removed a Pertamina official, this is Ahok’s response

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan revealed that a PT Pertamina (Persero) official was fired directly by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

However, when saying this, Luhut did not specify who the Pertamina official was.

Kompas.com also tried to confirm the correctness of the information to the President Commissioner of Pertamina Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or Ahok.

“You can ask Pak Luhut (who was the Pertamina official who was removed by Jokowi),” said the former governor of DKI Jakarta to Kompas.com, Wednesday (10/3/2021).

Got the answer, Kompas.com tried again to confirm to Ahok whether any of the directors at PT Pertamina were removed.

However, Ahok said it was possible that the dismissed official came from a subsidiary owned by Pertamina.

“Maybe a replacement for the president of a subsidiary (Pertamina),” said Ahok.
